YouTube Video - Digital Healthcare & Me presentation
Look, I'm probably never going to do a #TEDTalk (collective sigh of relief). But this is the closest I might come... My patient presentation at the Better Together for Digital Healthcare Conference in Dublin's Convention Centre.
I am a reluctant public speaker but I feel compelled to raise the #patientvoice because:
Patients are becoming more digitally empowered and looking for a more seamless healthcare experience
We need to adopt digital strategies that will strengthen the patient partnership
The process should not control the patient - the patient is part of the process 
Patient fears and concerns need to be raised, recognized and addressed
Support from patients should be sought and reinforced 
We need to collaborate or we will fail
