Radio - Teach medicine basics in primary school?
If you have 5 minutes I was on the radio this morning talking about a piece I wrote recently about teaching medicine in preschool.
In the UK First Aid training is mandated in state run primary schools. We should bring it into Irish schools. I believe it will improve society by increasing the medical conscience in the next generation, leading to a healthier population which has the knock on effect of reducing hospital waiting lists and inspiring more to join a health profession. What have we got to lose!
